Features and Quick "How-To":

1) Dual Camera Recording (PiP)
Record with front and back cameras at the same time in Picture-in-Picture mode.

Move and resize the PiP ("Picture - in Picture") window freely
Choose PiP size, transparency, frame style, and frame color
Switch between composed, separate, or triple recording modes
Capture photos while filming.

Switch between front- and back cameras with a double tap on the screen.


2) Smart Watermarks
Add live context directly on your media.

Date and time
Speed (km/h, mph, knots, min/km)
Location and coordinates
Weather, temperature, wind, pressure
Altitude and heading
Camera EXIF details (ISO, exposure, lens)
Custom text watermark

You can also fully style watermarks (in the settings menu or with a long press on the "TEXT"-Button:
Font, text size, text case
Text and background colors
Multiline or compact format
Position presets (Bottom-Left, Bottom-Center or Bottom-Right) or just drag the watermarks text to place.

3) Tour Tracking (GPX + Telemetry)
Create “tours” by recording route points, photos, videos, and sensor data together.

Start a new tour or continue a previous one
Record points by capture event, time interval, or location updates
Optional background tracking (with Always Location permission)
Keep all content synced to one route timeline
Export formats: CSV, JSON, GPX

4) Interactive Map View
Open your tour in map view and explore it visually.

View route path and media markers
Tap markers to open photos/videos
Show tour stats (distance, duration, speed, elevation, etc.)
Switch map styles: Standard, Muted, 3D, Satellite, Hybrid
Share map snapshots and files

5) Route Video Export
Turn your route into a summary video - when in "Map Mode" first click on the "Videocamera"-symbol.

Choose vertical or horizontal format
Control total video length
Set max duration for each photo/video stop
Options:
Include original clip audio
Add optional background music and ducking
Choose layout styles (map panel, overlay, fullscreen map + media stops)
Result: an easy made travel/activity story video.

6) Creative Recording Tools - for fun, experimental

How To Use (Step-by-Step) Quick Start
Open camAround2 and allow Camera, Microphone, Photo Library, and Location permissions.

Tap the video button to start recording.

Tap the PiP button to show/hide the second camera view.

Tap Settings (or long-press shortcuts) to enable watermarks like date, speed, and location.

Stop recording and view your media in the library.

Create a Tour
Tap Tour Tracking and start a new tour.
Choose a recording mode (On Capture, Time Interval, or Location Updates).
Record photos/videos as normal—points and media are added to the same tour.
Open View Tour Map to inspect route, markers, and stats.
Export tour data as CSV, GPX, or JSON—or create a route video.
Export a Route Video
Open a tour map.
Tap Export route video.
Choose orientation, layout style, and map mode.
Set export length or use default/recommended.
(Optional) add background music.
Export and share.

Permissions Section
camAround2 uses permissions only to provide app features:

Camera & Microphone: to capture photos and videos
Photo Library: to save your media
Location: to add route maps, GPS-based watermarks, and weather context
Background Location (optional): to continue tour tracking when the app is in the background
Data is used for app functionality and your generated media/tour exports.
